Friends Forever Friends Forever 2008 Belfast Northern Ireland Oct 18, 2008 Friends Forever Usa Inc. brought in 5 Protestant and 5 Catholic teens from Belfast, Northern Ireland, who came to our area for a week at Camp Kieve, placed into a carefully structured psychological life raft: housed together, transported in a single van, and equally “adrift” in an unfamiliar culture, teens that are “enemies” at home with nowhere to turn but to each other. The goal is that they become like brothers and sisters and teach their peers at home about peaceful coexistence once they return.  View

Getting a plan together! Community Service Events May 17, 2008 Rotarians and Family of Rotary partners work on Community Service Projects such as sprucing up the Sea Thrift Cottage at the Lincoln Home Assisted Living Facility in Newcastle. Proceeds from the seasonal thrift shop help support residents of The Lincoln Home.  View

Decadent Dessert and A Movie - Fund Raiser Apr 17, 2008 The Rotary Club of Damariscotta-Newcastle presented “The Other Boleyn Girl” for the Annual “Decadent Dessert and a Movie” fundraising event Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Lincoln County Community Theater in Damariscotta.
